Overhaul implies a set of measures during which specialists can repair or re-manufacture necessary parts and units for road-building machinery.
Any equipment wears out with time and becomes obsolete, and it needs repair, during which a complete diagnosis of all systems will be made and according to its results carried out: repair of hydraulic systems, hydraulic equipment, attachments, engine overhaul, as well as other activities on the overhaul of machinery, its components and hydraulic equipment.
Repair of truck cranes
Maintenance and repair of hoisting cranes shall be performed in accordance with the operating instructions. Crane service intervals are recommended to be observed under all operating conditions and at all times of the year.
The maintenance of mobile cranes is generally carried out together with the regular maintenance of the base vehicle and in accordance with the safety instructions for operating the crane.
Repairs to bulldozers or tractors
An overhaul of a bulldozer or tractor begins with a complete disassembly of the bulldozer or tractor. First the entire bulldozer or tractor is disassembled, then each part, beater gears, clutches, final drives, rimpull gearbox, swivel joints, carriages, hydraulic cylinders, cab is disassembled separately “to a small screw”. After complete disassembly, all parts are washed, cleaned and checked. When assembling units gears, bearings and other parts with backlashes and deviations more than allowed by the manufacturer are replaced with new ones. All new seals, paranite gaskets, rubber and fluoroplastic rings, noodles, etc. are installed. Each unit is run-in and adjusted after assembly.
Engine overhaul
Engine overhaul is the complete restoration of an engine after wear. To do this, the engine is removed from the transport device, completely disassembled and the worn elements are restored. It is also mandatory to repair the cylinder head, cylinder block and crankshaft. During an engine overhaul, some parts are replaced and some are rebuilt.
Gearbox Repair
The gearbox is an element of the transmission of vehicles. It is a complex mechanism. When repairing gearboxes, much attention is paid to measuring and adjusting clearances.
Sooner or later the owners of special equipment face the question of updating the fleet of operating machines. What will be the right decision – complete overhaul or purchase of new equipment? If the budget for fleet renewal is limited, there are good reasons to decide in favor of overhaul of the machine carried out at specialized repair facilities.
